Michael Lewis is the best-selling author of seventeen previous books, including Liar’s Poker, Moneyball, The Big Short, and The Fifth Risk. His most recent, Going Infinite, about the meteoric rise and fall of FTX’s founder Sam Bankman-Fried, is currently being adapted by Lena Dunham for Apple and A24. Lewis is the creator and host of Apple’s #1-rated podcast Against the Rules, a searing look at what’s happened to fairness in American life through the lens of people who depend on public trust, and he is the editor of Who Is Government?, an “eye-opening, multifaceted ode to public service [that] feels both urgent and moving” (The Guardian). He grew up in New Orleans and lives in Berkeley, California, with his family.
